The Different Egg Sizes
When you go to the shop and compare the X-Large eggs to those of the Large eggs you sometimes cannot tell the difference as they are almost the same size.
The difference, however, is not so much in the size as it is in the weight of the egg.
Extra Small (known as PeeWee) – 1.25 oz
Small – 1.50 oz
Medium – 1.75 oz
Large – 2.00 oz
Extra Large – 2.25 oz
